About Dr. Mineo

Dr. Mineo was a competitive triathlete and skier in college who decided to become a podiatrist after going through several surgeries and working for a stint as a ski boot fitter. As a skier, cyclist, drummer and race car driver, he recognizes the importance of an active lifestyle, and his goal is to help his patients overcome their injuries to return to their healthy lives.

Dr. Mineo's practice is largely trauma, sports medicine and deformity correction. This can range from minor procedures for bunions and hammertoes to major surgery. He is one of a handful of practitioners in Oregon who is certified to perform total ankle joint replacements.

Dr. Mineo's philosophy of care emphasizes open communication with patients and empowering them to take an active role in determining the right treatment plan. He wants patients to feel safe, comfortable and well-informed during treatment, knowing that he will serve as their advocate.

Dr. Mineo's patient Jeri Smith says, "I would recommend him without a doubt and without hesitation, and I would go back to him in a heartbeat."

Dr. Mineo keeps a busy schedule as a surgeon, but he also manages to carve out time for skiing, racing his bike and traveling with his family.
